As a landlord, it's important to know which properties are worth investing in and how to manage them going forward. If you had the skills and knowledge to identify risks and defects and gauge the severity of these issues, you could pre-empt and plan for future problems, helping you to budget effectively whilst keeping your tenants safe.

The Sava Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation is an accredited qualification that teaches you everything you need to know about residential property surveying - from building pathology and residential construction to inspection skills and how to uncover and manage building defects.

The diploma is the UK’s only part-time, vocational route into the residential surveying profession, making it perfect for complete career changers as well as property professionals such as landlords and estate agents looking to develop their property inspection skills.

In just 24 months, you'll be able to use your new skills to support you in your role as a landlord and property investor or even to transition into a new and rewarding career as a residential surveyor.
