How CITB Funding Can Help You Become a Surveyor Through Sava
Join a respected profession | Enhance your skillset | Qualify in as little as 24 months
Sava is the UK's leading provider of vocational residential property surveyor training - meaning you don't need a relevant degree to train with us. We're passionate about surveying and our industry-recognised qualification - the Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation - has been unlocking the profession for career changers and property professionals looking to enhance their skillset since 2014.
The diploma provides everything you need to become a successful residential property surveyor, building and refining your expertise in residential construction, building pathology, valuation and surveying skills. In as little 24 months, you'll be a qualified surveyor, ready to undertake Level 2 (and with experience, Level 3) home surveys where you'll inspect the condition of people's homes and report on any issues and defects present. You'll also be qualified to carry out residential valuation work.
Our graduates have gone on to work for established surveying firms and housing providers, use their skills in their existing construction roles, and many have set up their own independent practices.
If you're keen to leverage your existing construction knowledge and become a residential property surveyor, you could be eligible for CITB funding to support your career move.
"I enjoyed the course – particularly the trainers who were absolutely fantastic. I also enjoyed the practical days at the training properties. That was an eye-opener for me, seeing how experienced surveyors approach a property inspection. During the first year, we covered a lot of what I already knew from 20 years spent in building pathology and construction, so for me that part was a breeze."
- Michael Thompson, Sava graduate and owner of Survey Smart Ltd
